How to develop an audiovisual production that reflects a brand’s purpose?

Incorporating an inclusive perspective in business should not be considered an accessory. This is why Meta challenged us to create a video case study that synthesized the impact of the documentary series LATAM Season. In six chapters, activists and key figures in the industry highlight the transformative power of diversity in the business world.
The key message to communicate was that incorporating diversity in advertising is not only beneficial for society, but also drives organic business growth due to representation.
Doing
We put together a team of creatives, scriptwriters and editors to lead and develop the production of the video. We created partnerships with award-winning professionals capable of providing unique insights into the project, which was reflected in the quality of the final result.
We began by diving into the materials that Meta had provided us. Between videos, photos and audio, we made a fine curation of archives. We developed mood boards and a creative script that narrated the scope of the documentary series through an inspiring voiceover.
We searched for the right voice through a casting call, selecting a Latin American actress and influencer committed to the fight for the inclusion of dissident identities. The script was developed in Spanish to maintain the authenticity of our language, and then we translated it into English. We at Happy Together Studio led both the production and the management working with service providers, and coordinating the entire work team.
In a matter of three weeks, we managed to complete a video production that normally takes three months.
The key was our project management approach, which focused on efficiency and collaboration.
The result was a dynamic and creative video, which was presented at Cannes Lions.
We created an impactful video that captured LATAM Season’s essence. It highlighted diversity in business, showcasing inclusive perspectives and experiences in Latin America's business world.
